喹啉喹啉quinoline吡啶与苯并联的化合物。分子式C9H7N。图片有两种并合方式,分别称为喹啉和异喹啉。存在于煤焦油和骨焦油中,由煤焦油制得的粗喹啉约含4%的异喹啉。金鸡纳碱在蒸馏时产生喹啉。无色液体,具有特殊气味。凝固点-15.6℃,沸点238℃,相对密度1.0929(20/4℃)。微溶于水,易溶于乙醇、乙醚等有机溶剂。异喹啉的熔点26.5℃,沸点242.2℃(743毫米汞柱),密度1.0986克/厘米3(20℃),其气味与喹啉完全不同。二者都具有碱性,都可以与强酸生成盐,如苦味酸盐和重铬酸盐;与卤代烷形成四级铵盐等。喹啉的芳香性很强,苯环部分容易在5,8两位上发生亲电取代反应,例如在硝化或磺化时,产生5-和8-硝基和磺基喹啉。吡啶环稳定,在氧化时,苯环被破坏,而吡啶环不变。异喹啉的性质与喹啉近似,硝化和磺化在苯环的5位上发生,亲核反应则在1位上发生,如与氨基钠反应,生成1-氨基异喹啉,而喹啉在2位上氨基化。制备喹啉一般用斯克洛浦合成法,即用芳香一级胺、甘油、硫酸和氧化剂(如硝基苯)一起加热,经环化脱氢制成喹啉。异喹啉一般用β-苯乙胺的酰化衍生物与强脱水剂作用,经环化和脱水生成。天然的金鸡纳碱和合成的多种抗疟剂,都是喹啉的衍生物,喹啉形成一大类重要的菁染料。在许多生物碱中含有异喹啉的结构。
