干扰素干扰素interferon细胞在一定诱生剂的作用下所产生的一类蛋白质。它有广谱的抗病毒、抗肿瘤以及免疫调节的活性。缩写为IF。1957年,艾萨克斯和林登曼在研究病毒的干扰现象时发现了干扰素。干扰素的生物学活性有3个特点:①活性高,约1毫克纯化干扰素就有10亿个活性单位。只要有一个干扰素分子,就可以使一个细胞产生抗病毒状态。②具有广谱性和选择性,它对绝大多数病毒具有抑制作用,而对异常细胞(如肿瘤细胞)的作用比对正常细胞的作用大。③具有相对的种属特异性,它在一些不同种的动物间,甚至在种系发生相差甚远的动物间,也存在着交叉活性。干扰素不仅能抑制病毒复制和抗肿瘤,而且对免疫应答有复杂的调节作用。20世纪80年代初,已经通过干扰素基因工程(或称重组DNA技术),成功地从细菌制备了大量适用于人的干扰素,为干扰素的研究和应用开辟了新途径。
