庚醇分子式:C7H16O分子量:116.20CAS号:111-70-6性质:无色粘稠液体。熔点-34.1℃,沸点176℃,155.6℃(53.3kPa),136.6℃(26.7kPa)119.5℃(13.3kPa)99.8℃(5.33kPa),85.8℃(2.67kPa),74.7℃(1.33kPa),64.3℃(0.67kPa),42.4℃(0.133kPa),相对密度0.8187(25/4℃),折光率1.4224(25℃),闪点73℃。能与乙醚、乙醇混溶,该品在1L水中的溶解克数:18℃时为1g,100℃时2.85g,130℃时5.15g。有芳香气味。制备方法:由正庚醛还原而得。将1.8kg铁屑、3L水和0.45kg庚醛一起搅拌,加热回流6-7h,然后进行水蒸汽蒸馏,约得馏出物7-8L,分出油层,加入1L20%的氢氧庚酯水解。分现油层进行蒸馏,收集172-176℃馏分,可得约350g庚醇。还原反应也可在稀盐酸存在下进行。另外,戊烷与环氧乙烷在无水溴化铝存在下反应,也可制得庚醇。用途:用作溶剂,用于香料制备和有机合成。
