电子清纱器 检测和切断纱疵的电子机械装置。传感器把纱线的粗细变化转换成相应的电信号，信号经处理后控制执行机构把超过设定的粗(细)度和长度的纱疵予以切断，清除对产品质量有影响的纱疵。电子清纱器清纱效果好，对纱线无损伤,调整也很方便,已广泛用于络纱机（见络纱），也可用于并线机和自由端纺纱机。电子清纱器是1951年英国人S.史密斯研制成功的。到60年代各类清纱器已在纺织厂大量应用。电子清纱器主要由检测头（包括执行机构）、计算单元和电源控制箱三部分组成。根据检测方式的不同，电子清纱器分为光电式和电容式两类。光电式清纱器检测纱线遮光量的变化，较为接近视觉。电容式清纱器检测纱线单位长度的质量变化，间接反映纱线截面的大小。采用光电式清纱器时，检测区积尘、仪器本身器件老化和扁平纱疵对工作都有影响。采用电容式清纱器时，纱线的回潮率和混纺不匀对工作影响较大。现代电子清纱器向绝对测量和多功能方向发展；同时还出现了电子清纱器与纱疵仪和电子计算机相连接的系统，用以对络纱产量、效率以及纱疵等进行检测和数据收集。
