四氧化三锰分子式:Mn3O4CAS号:性质:黑色四方晶系结晶,经灼烧成结晶在温度1443K以下时为扭曲的四方晶系尖晶石结构;1443K以上时则为立方尖晶石结构。在自然界中以黑锰矿形式存在。密度4.856g/cm3。熔点1564℃。可溶于盐酸。不溶于水。在氢气或一氧化碳中加热至高温生成一氧化锰。在氧气中加热生成二氧化锰。高温下碳可使它还原为锰。与盐酸共热可放出氯气并生成二氯化锰。由锰的氧化物或盐类在空气或氧气中于1000℃灼烧制得。或由高纯β-二氧化锰于980~1000℃下焙烧,再经冷却、粉碎制得γ-四氧化三锰。当用二氧化锰或水锰矿为原料时则先焙烧,再在甲烷气体下进一步还原也可制得。主要用于电子工业生产软磁铁氧体,用作电子计算机中存储信息的磁芯、磁盘和磁带,电话用变压器和商品质电感器,电视回归变压器,磁头,电感器,磁放大器,饱和电感器,天线棒等。还可用作某些油漆或涂料的颜料。
