粉末轧制 用金属粉末为原料直接轧制金属成材的工艺(见粉末冶金)。金属粉末先在粉末轧机上轧成带坯(或称"生带"),再经烧结、冷轧(或热轧)、退火,即可制成致密的或多孔的成品板带材。这种工艺比传统的经过冶炼、铸锭、开坯、轧制成材等工序的工艺简单,成材率为85~90%。但由于金属粉末成本较高,生产率低,所以这种工艺主要用于生产特殊性能的材料,如多孔板材,多层金属复合材、摩擦材料和反应堆材料等。粉末轧制法发明于1902年。粉末轧机一般为二辊或四辊式。辊径根据所轧制的生带厚度设计,一般生带厚度为辊径的0.33~2%。目前轧制的宽度多在60~300mm。粉末轧机外形和供料漏斗见图1和图2。 轧制生带有三种方法:①金属粉末直接轧制。即在室温下通过装料设备把金属粉末直接喂入旋转的轧辊间连续压实成生带。②粘结粉末轧制。即在金属粉末中加入粘结剂制成薄坯,再送入粉末轧机轧成生带。③金属粉末热轧。即在保护气氛中把粉末预先加热到一定温度再行轧制。 用粉末轧制法生产的孔隙度为20~90%的多孔材料的厚度为0.05~9mm;致密材料的厚度为0.20~4mm。生产廉价的金属粉末,提高轧制速度,发展宽粉末轧机,提高生带边部整齐度及纵、横方向的密度均匀性等,是粉末轧制的研究方向。
