熔析精炼  一种古老而常用的火法精炼方法,多用于提纯熔点较低的金属(例如锡、铅、锌、锑等),以除去熔点较高并与主金属形成含量很低的二元共晶的杂质。此法利用某些杂质金属或其化合物在主金属中的溶解度随温度的降低而显著减小的性质,改变温度使原来成分均匀的粗金属发生分相,形成多相体系,即液体和固体或液体和液体,而将杂质分离到一种固体或液体中,达到提纯金属的目的。    升温熔析法 缓慢加热固体粗金属至略高于主金属的熔点,但低于杂质或其化合物的熔点,此时主金属熔化成液体,杂质金属及其化合物在主金属中的溶解度很小,仍保持固体状态,得以分离。例如,粗锡熔析法除铁、砷等。也有利用此法在主金属熔点附近时,除去熔体中与主金属互溶性很低的杂质。例如,粗锌熔析法除铅就是在略高于锌熔点的温度下熔体分层,使铅富集于下层熔体,而提高上层锌液的纯度。     降温熔析法 又称凝析法。将温度较高的粗金属熔体缓慢降温冷却到略高于主金属的熔点,引起一些溶解度较小的杂质或其化合物达到过饱和状态而析出,或浮于熔池的表面,或沉于熔池的底部。    加入添加剂的熔析法 上述两法的精炼效果较差,有时为了强化它们的精炼作用,向粗金属熔体加入适量的添加剂,与杂质形成一种更稳定、溶解度更小的化合物而分离出来。
