目标截获和识别雷达  在宽广的搜索空域内对来袭目标进行截获、跟踪和识别的雷达。它通常是早期预警雷达网的一个组成部分。它接受早期预警雷达的引导数据,在指定的空域内搜索并截获目标。通过对目标的自动跟踪过程,完成对各种可疑目标的筛选、分类和识别(见目标识别技术)。然后将真实的攻击性目标(弹道导弹的弹头、轰炸机和空地导弹等)分配给反弹道导弹防御系统和防空系统的引导雷达。目标截获和识别雷达是从60年代初发展起来的,采用相控阵体制(见相控阵雷达),工作于P频段(400~500兆赫),作用距离为3000~4500公里。其特点是搜索周期短、截获概率高、反应快、发射波形多变和识别能力强。截获概率等于目标存在于搜索空域内的概率乘以被发现的概率,后一概率完全由雷达的能力和检测装置性能所决定。目标截获和识别雷达根据早期预警雷达的引导数据,在指定的两维角度和径向距离上同时进行快速搜索。针状天线波束有螺旋、扇形和光栅状等多种扫描方式。距离搜索波门一般作匀速运动。目标被截获后,雷达立即转入自动跟踪状态。雷达转入自动跟踪状态后,能够对多个目标进行测距、测速和测角,计算它们的位置和运动参数,同时进行极化状态变换、发射波形变换,并计算目标特征信号,以供识别判断。被截获的目标虽然经过早期预警雷达的初选,但由于电子对抗的发展,真实目标还会伴有许多假目标(如弹体碎块、箔条诱饵和热诱饵等)。目标截获和识别雷达能够识别可疑目标,排除假目标,只留下真目标。
