电离层暴电离层暴ionosphericstorm电离层骚扰的一种。F2层状态的异常变化。由太阳扰动期间喷发的带电粒子流与地球高层大气相互作用引起。电离层暴发生于太阳扰动出现1~2天之后,持续时间由几小时至几天,这期间常伴随着磁暴和极光。电离层暴通常可分为3类:①正相电离层暴,F2层的临界频率比正常值增大,多发生于赤道地区上空;②负相电离层暴,F2层的临界频率低于正常值,多发生于中、高纬度地区,强度大,持续时间长;③双相电离层暴,F2层临界频率有高于正常值的,也有低于正常值的。电离层暴的出现次数和强度与太阳黑子数的变化密切相关,有11年的周期变化,显著的年变化和27天的重现性。电离层暴期间,短波无线电通讯和广播可能遭受严重影响,甚至讯号中断。
