比较仪 利用相对法进行测量（见长度计量技术）的长度测量工具（图1）,主要由测微仪和比较仪座组成。测量时，先用量块研合组成与被测基本尺寸相等的量块组，再用此量块组使测微仪指针对零，然后换上被测工件，测微仪指针指示的即为被测尺寸的偏差值。按测微仪所采用的放大原理，比较仪可分为机械式比较仪、光学比较仪和电学比较仪3种。 机械式比较仪 和百分表和千分表、杠杆齿轮式测微仪或扭簧测微仪等机械式指示表作为放大、指示部件。杠杆齿轮式测微仪的工作原理与百分表和千分表相似。但第1级放大机构是杠杆，其分度值通常为1微米。扭簧测微仪是一种具有无机械摩擦放大机构的指示表（图2）。它的主要放大元件是一根从中间起一端向右扭曲，另一端向左扭曲的金属薄片（宽度为0.1毫米左右，厚度为0.005毫米左右），称为扭簧丝。在它的中间粘有一根直径约为0.06毫米的空心玻璃丝做的指针。当测杆上下移动时，可动支架把上下位移转换为左右位移，使扭簧丝缩短或伸长，并带动指针转一个角度，从表盘上即可读出测杆的位移量。扭簧测微仪的灵敏度很高,常见的分度值有1微米、0.5微米、0.2微米和0.1微米几种,最高可达0.02微米。示值范围一般为±50个分度值。机械式比较仪常用在车间和计量室测量工件外径和厚度等。 光学比较仪 利用光学测微仪作为放大指示部件。常见的有立式、卧式和影屏式 3种。①立式光学比较仪：又称立式光学计,图3为光学测微仪的光学系统。它是按自准直原理（见自准直仪）设计的。分划板位于物镜焦平面上，平面反射镜按杠杆原理设置。当测杆上下移动时，平面反射镜绕支点转动一个很小角度，由平面反射镜反射回去的光线，经直角棱镜后成象在分划板上的刻度尺象发生偏移。偏移量的大小与测杆移动距离成比例。光学测微仪的分度值为 1微米,示值范围为0.1毫米。立式光学计适宜在计量室使用，测量范围为0～180毫米，常用于检定量块和光滑量规以及测量工件的外径、厚度。②卧式光学比较仪：又称卧式光学计，其工作原理与立式光学计相同，测量范围为0～500毫米，适用于在计量室测量较大的或在立式光学计上不易定位的工件，如圆盘等，也常利用测孔附件测量孔径。③影屏式光学比较仪:又称投影光学计,其光学系统与立式光学计相似，但刻度尺影像经投影放大透镜放大后成象于影屏上。分度值有1微米、0.2微米等。分度值为 0.2微米的光学系统采用多次反射以增大光学杠杆的放大比。此外，还有用光波干涉法测量的接触式干涉比较仪，其分度值为0.05微米、0.1微米和0.2微米。 电学比较仪 常用电感式或电容式测微仪（见长度传感器）作为放大、指示部件。图4是数字显示的电感式比较仪，其分辨率有1微米、0.1微米和0.01微米等几种。
