过励磁限制器过励磁限制器over-excitation limiter guo}一C一x一Onzh.q-过励磁限制器(over一exeitation limiter)自动电压调节器中为了防止同步发电机励磁绕组长期过负载而专门设置的限制励磁电流的附加装置。它是避免长时间强行励磁造成转子绕组损坏的一种预防措施，又称强励限制单元，或磁场过流限制器。 当电力系统电压突然下降时，自动电压调节装置强行励磁，迅速将发电机的励磁增至最大，以保证发电机并列运行的稳定性和改善电力系统的运行条件。由于励磁绕组的热容量较大，强励时绕组温度逐渐升高，经历了一定时间之后，温度才上升到威胁励磁绕组绝缘的程度。所以，经历了允许的强励时间(例如按转子温升限制在105左右，见强行励磁)之后，若强励电流不能自动降下来，则过励磁限制器动作，自动将励磁电流限制到发电机转子温升所容许的电流值附近。其延时可分为定时限和反时限两种:定时限过励磁限制允许强励一段时间后，即将励磁电流限制到容许值;反时限过励磁限制从转子绕组发热考虑，其允许的强励时间是随发电机励磁电流大小而反方向变化的。
