VP分子式：CAS号：性质：又称后叶加压素，抗利尿素加压素，精氨酸加压素。哺乳动物类脑下垂体后叶激素之一，它由下丘脑的视丘核产生再经轴突运输到垂体后叶，然后再由后叶向外分泌。系环状活性肽类激素，含九个氨基酸残基。因分子中两个半胱氨酸(Cys)通过二硫键相连接作为一个胱氨酸计，则又称它为八肽。目前从动物垂体中提取和人工合成两种方法获得。自人、羊、马、牛等垂体中得到的是肽链序列中第八个氨基酸残基为精氨酸；自猪等动物垂体中得到的八是赖氨酸残基，并分别称为精氨酸加压素和赖氨酸加压素。无色橙明液体，pH值3.4～4.0，等电点pI 10.9。于25℃以下可保存2年以上，2～10℃可保存3年以上。它们具有抗利尿和升血压两种作用，故又有加压素之称。其生理功能是可促进肾小管对水分的重吸收，如体内垂体分泌该肽过少，可致肾小管对水的吸收发生障碍，由此产生多尿、失水、狂渴、多饮等尿崩症状。该肽抗利尿作用奏效、迅速，但维持时间仅2～8h。为此人们又研制了作用时间长、升压作用小的抗利尿激素的多种衍生物达十多种之多，如去氨基精加压素(desmopressin)就是其中之一。该活性肽也能引起包括冠状动脉在内全身小动脉的收缩，使血压升高，但考虑到对心脏不利，在临床上不大用作升压药，而仅用于抗利尿激素缺乏所致的尿崩症的治疗。
