金属硫蛋白分子式:CAS号:性质:又称巯基金属结合蛋白。一类非酶蛋白质,除含有Cd、Zn的MT外,在自然界也存在含有铜(Cu)、汞(Hz)、金(Au)、铋(Bi)等元素的MT。MT的蛋白分子内不含有芳香族氨基酸和组氨酸。让MT中50%的金属离子发生解离的pH值分别为:2n-MT:3.5~4.5;Cd-MT:2.5~3.5;Cu-MT<1.0。因MT缺乏芳香族氨基酸,故在280nm处无吸收峰,然而具有与金属相关的吸收峰。去金属的MT在190nm处有一个吸收峰。所有脊椎动物、多数植物和微生物体内都含有MT。无论是自然产生还是诱导产生的MT,其氨基酸组成基本相同、主要不同在所含金属及其含量。目前产品主要从马肾、兔肝和微生物(如粗脉孢菌)等中提取。MT生理功能大体上有如下几点:(1)参与微量元素代谢和重金属的解毒;(2)清除,6由基及参与应激反应;(3)其含量往往与肿瘤有相关性,故有可能在肿瘤预防、治疗、保护细胞抵抗重金属和烷化剂的致瘤、致突变作用;也有可能成为肿瘤的标志物。主要用作化妆品添加剂和生化试剂。
