须弥福寿之庙 中国古代佛教藏式建筑。位于河北省承德市狮子沟北侧山麓。建于乾隆四十五年(1780)。系乾隆七十寿辰,西藏政教首领六世班禅额尔德尼跋涉万里来承德为其祝寿,乾隆皇帝按照达赖五世来京朝见顺治皇帝,顺治在北京德胜门外修建西黄寺的先例,仿六世班禅在日喀则所居扎什伦布寺而建此庙,故又称班禅"行宫",是承德外八庙中最后修建的寺庙。建筑规模宏伟,造型风格奇异,藏式建筑艺术中融汇了汉式建筑的情趣,是建筑艺术中的佳作。1961年中华人民共和国国务院公布为全国重点文物保护单位。 此庙南向,东西120米,南北360米,占地面积4.3万多平方米。纵深式均衡布局。大红台群楼位于全庙正中,将庙分隔成前、中、后三部分。 前部自庙前五孔石桥始,依次为庑殿式黄琉璃绿剪边瓦顶之山门,方形碑亭和东、西掖门。碑亭内置高8米的《御制须弥福寿之庙碑》,以满、汉、蒙、藏 4种文字镌刻建庙背景,具有重要的历史价值。 中部有琉璃牌坊,坊后为全庙的主体大红台群楼及妙高庄严殿。 大红台由三层群楼及其围绕的"妙高庄严"金瓦殿组成。平面呈"回"字形。群楼东西各十三间,南北各十一间,外墙下部为花岗岩条石砌成,上部砌砖红灰抹饰,饰以琉璃垂花罩窗,多为盲窗。南侧正面入口为琉璃花饰大门。群楼平顶,墁以方砖,四角各建一单檐庑殿顶角殿。造型风格为藏制,而建筑材料及工艺基本上仍为清官式做法,工精料实,规模宏伟。群楼中央为妙高庄严殿,方形七开间周围廊三层重檐鎏金瓦顶大殿,供释迦牟尼和宗喀巴像,六世班禅讲经宝座仍在。殿顶为重檐四角攒尖,覆以鱼鳞状鎏金铜瓦,宝顶水纹脊,行龙 8条。此殿原为六世班禅讲经、乾隆帝为六世班禅册封之处。 吉祥法喜殿方五间,重檐二层歇山鎏金瓦顶,为班禅起居、行佛、办公之处。大红台东侧的东红台及生欢喜心殿均已无存。 后部位于大红台之后中轴线上,依地势之升高建有"金贺堂"和"万法宗源"组成的典型藏式院落。"万法宗源"之后,建有方基,八角七层琉璃塔。雕饰华丽,技艺精湛,具有清代琉璃塔的特点。 须弥福寿之庙保存基本完整。1976年国务院拨专款做了重点整修。
