木质素(lignin)【木质素】(lignin)亦称“木素”。一种结构很复杂的芳香族高分子化合物。黄褐色无定形难溶的树脂状物质。遇苯胺盐酸盐溶液呈变色反应。大量存在于植物木质化组织的细胞壁内,填充纤维的间隙,增加机械强度。不能被动物所消化,在土壤中能转化志腐植质。工业上主要由从亚硫酸盐法制得的木浆废液中分离制得。可用作填充剂(酚醛塑料)、鞣剂、粘合剂(代替酚醛杩脂制粘胶合板)。由亚硫酸盐纸浆制得的副产物含有磺酸盐的木质素横酸,可用以制香草醛。
