非组蛋白分子式:CAS号:性质:高等动植物的核蛋白质中,除组蛋白之外的其他蛋白质的总称。组蛋白是碱性的,而非组蛋白则大多是酸性的。核内的DNA形成组蛋白及核小体结构,这是染色体的基本单位。核小体与核内的RNA、非组蛋白等结合,形成更为高级的结构。染色体的高级结构,由于受细胞的生理状态变化的影响而发生变化。因此认为,非组蛋白的功能是:(1)酶(RNA合成酶、蛋白质磷酸化酶等);(2)遗传信息的保持和表达调节(HMG14,HMG17及许多酸性染色体蛋白质);(3)染色体的结构支持体(matrix protein,基质蛋白质等;scaffold protein,支架蛋白质)等。
