越窑越窑中国古代南方青瓷窑。窑所在地主要在今浙江省上虞、余姚、慈溪、宁波等地。因这一带古属越州，故名。生产年代自东汉至宋。唐越窑青瓷匜（浙江余姚上林湖出土）唐朝是越窑工艺最精湛时期，居全国之冠。隋、初唐继承南朝风格，生产碗、盘、盘口四系壶、四耳罐、鸡头壶等产品。盛唐以后产品精美，赢得声誉。产品都做得很规整，一丝不苟。常将口沿做成花口、荷叶口、葵口，底部加宽，作成玉璧形、玉环形或多曲结构，十分美观。胎体为灰胎，细腻坚致；釉为青釉，晶莹滋润，如玉似冰。唐朝文学家陆羽，在所著《茶经》中评价全国各地生产的茶碗，将越窑产品排在首位。许多文人还在作品中称颂越窑瓷器，如陆龟蒙的《秘色越器》，施肩吾的《蜀茗词》，顾况的《茶赋》。表现出越窑青瓷的秀雅。9世纪下半叶，越窑部分窑场开始生产专供皇室使用的高档秘色瓷。越窑产品还通过陆上、海上丝绸之路广泛销售到亚洲、非洲许多国家和地区。
