傩舞和傩戏 傩舞是古代"傩祭"仪式中的一种舞蹈;傩戏是在傩舞基础上发展形成的戏剧形式。傩祭渊源于原始社会的图腾崇拜,到商代形成了一种固定的用以驱鬼逐疫的祭祀仪式,周代叫做傩。傩祭的核心人物是"方相氏",在举行傩祭的时候,他的身上蒙着熊皮,戴着有四只眼睛的面具,一手执戈,一手扬盾,率领戴面具、披毛顶角的"十二兽"(或尊称为"十二神")及大队"侲子"(由少年儿童扮演)到宫室各处跳跃呼号,并合唱充满巫术咒语味道的祭歌,以驱逐"疫鬼"。北宋时,宫廷傩舞中已没有方相氏、十二兽、侲子等角色,而出现了由教坊伶人装扮的将军、门神、判官、钟馗、小妹、六丁、六甲等人物。从人物的搭配看,表演已可能有一定情节,并向着娱人的方向发展。 傩舞的发展对中国的地方戏曲有影响,如安徽的黄梅戏,其传统曲调"傩神调",就来源于傩舞。在某些地区,傩舞本身已发展成"傩戏",如湖南的"傩堂戏"、"傩愿戏",湖北的"傩戏",贵州的"脸壳戏"、"傩坛戏"等。傩戏表演的主要特点是角色都戴木制假面。 傩舞和傩戏的节目比较多,但情节一般比较简单,人物不多。其中有《盘古开山》、《郎君(鲁班)架桥》、《董永卖身》、《柳毅传书》、《孟姜女》等神话传说,也有《李斯操兵》、《送药酒》(表现秦二世鸩杀扶苏、蒙恬、李斯的故事)、《关公斩貂蝉》、《张飞闯辕门》等历史演义,还有《西游记》、《封神榜》等说部中的人物故事。这些"戏"的发展水平很不一致,有的还只是带有一定情节的歌舞,但有的已有了生、旦、净、丑行当的雏型。它们生动、具体地反映了中国表演艺术由歌舞向戏剧形式发展进程中各个阶段的不同面貌。
