变脸变脸中国戏曲的情绪化妆。变脸最先用于神怪角色，明代已有。明杂剧《灌口二郎斩健蛟》中就有“变化青脸”的记载。当时的变脸是演员进入后台改扮。后世则衍变为当场变脸，成为一项表演特技，不少地方剧种都有，以川剧最为著名。变脸有大变脸、小变脸之分。大变脸系全脸都变，有3变、5变乃至9变；小变脸则为局部变脸。变脸的主要手法有三：抹暴眼、吹粉、扯脸。前两种属涂面化妆，如抹暴眼是演员手指抹上预存于眉头或鬓的墨青，一抹即变；吹粉是演员吹起色粉，以改变脸色；后一种则加用面具，变时一个个扯下来。此外，还有撕脸与贴脸，现已不多用。变脸要求动作敏捷，不露痕迹。主要用于剧中人物惊恐、绝望、愤怒等情绪的突然变化。
