火箭的级间分离技术 级间分离技术是将联结成一个整体的多级火箭按预定程序进行分离的技术。想弄清多级火箭的分离，需先了解多级火箭的联结。目前，世界各国的运载火箭，多数是二级或三级，少数为四级。原因是目前单级火箭的最大速度超不过7公里／秒，无法将航天器送入地球轨道，因而，只能采用多级火箭，如同接力赛跑，逐级加速，才能把航天器送入地球轨道。 多级火箭的联结有串联、并联、混合三种形式。如果火箭的各级是首尾相联，那就是串联式联结；各级箭身挨着芯体周围联结，则为并联联结；而混合联结就是串、并联兼而有之。 多级火箭的每一级，实际上都是能够独立工作的单级火箭。它们有各自的发动机(一台或数台)、控制系统的部分仪器(可分离掉的)、推进剂系统、控制稳定飞行的执行机构等。在火箭的最下面一级称为第一级，依次向上，分别称为第二级和第三级。由于这些级好像整个火箭中的“孩子”，所以，也称相应的级为“第一子级”、“第二子级”……。 为了联结和分离的方便，有些火箭还有级间段。各级的联结一般采用爆炸螺栓、爆炸索、定位销等联结件。火箭飞行过程中，各级按程序指令启动、关闭发动机，然后依次把它们抛掉，从而降低了用于继续加速所需的能量消耗。 多级火箭的分离既不能过早，也不能过迟，更不允许该分离而不分离。这就要求它的分离要及时、准确、可靠、安全。常有热分离和冷分离的两种办法。 热分离的基本程序是：启动第二级发动机，关闭第一级发动机，起爆炸断联结件。显然，这种分离主要靠第二级火箭发动机的燃气流使第一级断开结合部之后减速，同时又使第二级在启动之前受到轴向过载作用而保证启动的可靠性，因而十分简便。不过，在分离时第二级无疑要受到较大的扰动，并且要多消耗一些推进剂。 冷分离又称减速分离。它的分离指令程序一般是：级间联结件爆破断开，启动第一级的制动火箭或其他制动装置，启动第二级的火箭发动机。在此种情况下，级间分离机构的组件少、也较轻，工作过程不会受到很大的轴向、侧向、振动等作用力的影响，显得分离平稳。但是，这种分离方式，对于控制系统的精度要求较高。 当级间的联结件解锁时，第二级发动机点火产生加速，第一级受制动力作用而减速，于是，在这两级之间就形成了一个“安全距离”。 第一级的制动力，可以用安装制动火箭或反射喷管等装置来产生。它们适时投入工作后，可避免第一级受发动机后效推力作用追上第二级所引起的碰撞，保证分离之后第二级飞行的稳定性。
