钒(V)分子式:分子量:CAS号:性质:周期系第V族副族(钒族)元素。原子序数23。同位素:50β,ε,51。原子量50.9415。浅灰色金属。有延性。很坚硬。无磁性。密度6.11。熔点1917℃。沸点3400℃。主要化合价+2、+3、+4和+5。在空气中不被氧化。对盐酸也稳定。但溶于氢氟酸、硝酸和王水。主要用于制合金钢和催化剂。矿物有绿硫钒矿(VS2或V2S5)、钒钾铀矿和褐铅矿等。可用碳、硅、铝还原五氧化二钒制得。在惰性气氛中,用钠或镁还原四氯化钒可制得较纯的钒。
