呋喃呋喃furan含有一个氧杂原子的五元杂环化合物。分子式C4H4O。存在于少数的精油和松木焦油内。有些糖类以分子内半缩醛的形式形成取代的呋喃环系,称为呋喃型糖。呋喃的重要衍生物糠醛是一种农副产品。苯并呋喃和二苯并呋喃存在于某些天然产物内。无色液体。熔点-85.6℃,沸点31.4℃,相对密度0.9514(20/4℃)。微溶于水,溶于乙醇、乙醚等有机溶剂。它与浸有盐酸的松木片反应呈现绿色,这是鉴定呋喃的一种方法,称为松片反应。呋喃可以发生加成反应,例如,可与顺丁烯二酸酐反应发生双烯加成。也可以水解成1,4-二羰基化合物。它比苯活泼得多,硝化或卤化时,除得取代产物外,还可得加成产物。呋喃环上有其他吸电子基团时,活性降低,反应的进行较易控制。
