光弹性应力冻结法  光弹性法的一种,此法是将光弹性模型加热到冻结温度时,施加载荷,再缓慢冷却至室温后卸载。模型承受载荷时产生的双折射效应将保存下来,即使将模型切成薄片,其双折射效应也不会消失,这种特性称为应力冻结效应。此法是利用这种效应进行三维光弹性应力分析。    用偏振光照射冻结切片时,只有垂直于偏振光入射方向的平面中才有双折射效应。沿着偏振光照射方向的平面中,虽然也有应力存在,但并不显示出双折射效应。切片平面中的干涉条纹和垂直于偏振光入射方向的平面内最大和最小的正应力之差成正比。这最大和最小的正应力往往不是主应力,但它们的性质和二维应力分析中的主应力类似,故称为次主应力。对于切片中的同一测点,选用不同入射方向的偏振光,可得到不同的次主应力,其大小和偏振光的入射方向有关,这是它和主应力的根本差别。沿着切片厚度,应力的大小和方向都连续变化。因此,由干涉条纹得到的应力是沿切片厚度的平均值。但是,当切片厚度远小于模型尺寸时,沿切片厚度的应力平均值可以准确地反映该点的应力状态。    采用三维光弹性应力冻结法时,通常将冻结模型切成薄片或小条(见图),应用正射和斜射的方法测取等差线条纹和等倾线,再用剪应力差法计算其正应力。      参考书目   天津大学材料力学教研室光弹组编著:《光弹性原理及测试技术》,科学出版社,北京,1980。
