乙二醛 分子式C2H2O2,分子量:58.04。结构式:CHO-CHO黄色晶体或淡黄色液体。熔点15℃,沸点50.4℃,密度(20/4℃)1.14g/cm3。是一种化学性质极为活泼的化合物,氧化时可生成甲酸;在碱性条件下,可以发生分子内的康尼查罗反应,一个醛基被氧化成羧基,一个醛基被还原成羟基,生成乙醇酸;在进行控制氧化时可生成乙醛酸。其蒸气与空气混合易发生爆炸。溶于水、乙醇和乙醚。易聚合成树脂状的固体,受热时又可以分解成单体。还能与含有羟基的化合物生成缩醛。可用作人造丝的阻缩剂,还用作明胶、动物胶、聚乙烯醇和淀粉等的不溶粘剂。可由乙二醇经气相氧化制备。
