铼铼rhenium一种化学元素。化学符号Re，原子序数75，原子量186.207，属周期系ⅦB族。1872年俄国D.I.门捷列夫曾根据元素周期律预言，存在一个原子量为190并与锰的性质相似的化学元素，命名为类锰。1925年德国W.诺达克、I.诺达克-塔克和O.C.贝格用光谱法分析铌锰铁矿时发现这个元素，命名为rhenium，该字来源于拉丁文Rhenus，含义是莱茵河。铼在地壳中的含量为0.001×10-4％。铼的矿物很少，只有辉铼矿（ReS2）和铜铼硫化物矿（CuReS4）。铼主要与钼、铜、铅、锌、铂、铌的矿物伴生，具有经济价值的含铼矿物为辉钼矿，一般含铼0.001％～0.031％。铼有两种天然同位素，铼185为稳定同位素，铼187为放射性同位素。铼是银白色金属，熔点3180℃，沸点5627℃，相对密度20.53，金属铼非常硬、耐磨、耐腐蚀。铼在常温下稳定，300℃时开始被氧化。高温下与硫蒸气化合成二硫化铼，与氟、氯、溴形成卤化物。铼不溶于盐酸，可溶于硝酸和热的浓硫酸，生成高铼酸（HReO4）。铼的氧化态为－1、＋1、＋2、＋3、＋4、＋5、＋6、＋7。氧化物有Re2O、Re2O3、ReO2、ReO3、Re2O7。焙烧辉钼矿的烟道灰和精炼铜中的阳极泥中含Re2O7，转化为高铼酸钾后，用氢气在800℃还原，可得金属铼。高纯铼可由三氯化铼的热分解制得。金属铼及其合金可用于制造自来水笔的笔尖和高温热电偶，在醇类脱氢和将二氧化硫氧化为三氧化硫反应中用作催化剂。
