乙醇胺乙醇胺ethanolamine氨分子中的氢被羟乙基-CH2CH2OH取代而生成的化合物。可分为一乙醇胺HOCH2CH2NH2、二乙醇胺(HOCH2CH2)2NH和三乙醇胺(HOCH2CH2)3N。通常,一乙醇胺简称乙醇胺。它们都是无色粘稠液体,有吸湿性和氨的气味。与水、乙醇、丙酮等互溶,溶于微热的苯,微溶于乙醚和四氯化碳等。均具有碱性。一乙醇胺又称氨基乙醇、胆胺;常存在于磷脂中,常与胆碱共存,在血清白蛋白腐烂发酵液中也发现有胆胺;熔点10.3℃,沸点170℃,相对密度1.0180(20/4℃);它的羟基和氨基可分别发生相应的化学反应。二乙醇胺熔点28℃,沸点271℃,相对密度1.0966(20/4℃);它与硫酸作用生成吗啉;吗啉为液体,常用作溶剂或试剂。三乙醇胺熔点21~22℃,沸点277℃(150毫米汞柱),相对密度1.1242(20/4℃)。与硫酸作用生成羟乙基吗啉。乙醇胺可由氨与环氧乙烷反应制得。当环氧乙烷通入过量的氨水中反应时,可得一乙醇胺,进一步与环氧乙烷作用,可得二乙醇胺或三乙醇胺。还可由氨与氯乙醇反应制得。一乙醇胺可由硝基甲烷与甲醛缩合后还原制得。三种乙醇胺都是重要的化工原料。一乙醇胺是制药物和染料的中间体。二乙醇胺和三乙醇胺可用于制造农药、合成纤维的柔软剂和染料、树脂等的分散剂。机械工业中研磨、切削时使用的冷却剂是由三乙醇胺、亚硝酸盐和水配制而成。它们均可用于天然气、焦炉气的净化,也用于合成非离子性表面活性剂和作农药分散剂。对眼、皮肤和粘膜有刺激作用。
