氮化物  氮与电负性较小的元素形成的二元化合物,不包括氮与氢或卤素的二元化合物及叠氮化物。按性质分为四类:①碱金属和碱土金属的氮化物,又称离子型氮化物,它们的热稳定性较低,容易水解产生氨和金属氢氧化物;②过渡元素的氮化物,称为金属型氮化物,一般具有高硬度、高熔点、高化学稳定性,并具有金属的外貌和导电性;③铜分族和锌分族元素的氮化物,是金属型和共价型之间的过渡形式,称为中间型氮化物;④硼族到硫族元素的氮化物,具有共价结构,称为共价型氮化物,一般都非常稳定。    碱金属与氮反应时生成叠氮化物,经小心加热即分解形成氮化物,其他氮化物一般都可由元素单质与氮直接反应制备。硼、硅、钛、钒和钽的氮化物由于坚硬、难熔、能抗化学侵蚀,常用作磨料和制作坩埚(见氮化硼)。
