烧绿石 化学成分为(Ca,Na)2Nb2O6(OH,F)、晶体属等轴晶系的氧化物矿物。旧称黄绿石。成分中的铌可被钽类质同象替代，与细晶石形成完全类质同象系列。还可含有数量不定的稀土、铀、钍、锆、钛等元素。置于火上灼烧后变成绿色，故名。为铌的主要矿石矿物，用以提取铌，兼取其中的钽、稀土及铀、钍等。烧绿石晶体呈八面体，集合体成粒状。褐至黑色，树脂光泽至金刚光泽，微透明。八面体解理清晰。摩斯硬度 5～5.5，比重4.2。含Ta量增大时，比重相应增大。水化以后，硬度及比重均显著降低。烧绿石主要产于碳酸盐岩型矿床中，巴西的米纳斯吉拉斯是世界最著名的产地。此外，也产于霞石正长岩及其伟晶岩中。
