2-甲基呋喃 分子量82．1。无色透明液体，有醚的气味、露置空气中及日光下逐渐变黄至黑色。相对密度(20 ℃／4℃)0．913，凝固点-88．68℃，沸点63．2-65．6℃。闪点5．6℃，折射率1．4542。能与多数有机溶剂混溶，与甲醇形成二元共沸物，与甲醇、水形成三元共沸物。强碱能使其分解，与酸接触能发生反应。通明火、氧化剂有引起燃烧的危险。蒸气能与空气形成爆炸性混合物。有毒，有麻醉作用。空气中最高容许浓度0.04％。 用作快干溶剂。 贮存于阴凉、通风的库房内，温度不超过30 ℃，远离火种、热源，防止日光直射。
