锕系元素锕系元素actinicles周期系ⅢB族中原子序数为89~103的15种化学元素的统称。包括锕、钍、镤、铀、镎、钚、镅、锔、锫、锎、锿、镄、钔、锘、铹,它们都是放射性元素。铀以后的原子序数为93~109的17种元素称为超铀元素。前4种元素锕、钍、镤、铀存在于自然界中,其余11种全部用人工核反应合成。锕系元素原子结构的特点是:锕以后的元素电子依次填充5f内电子层,它们的最外层的电子构型基本相同,使锕系元素之间的性质非常相似,与镧系元素一样,锕系元素中也存在着离子半径收缩现象。表:锕系元素锕系元素都是金属,与镧系元素一样,化学性质比较活泼。它们的氯化物、硫酸盐、硝酸盐、高氯酸盐可溶于水,氢氧化物、氟化物、硫酸盐、草酸盐不溶于水。大多数锕系元素能形成配位化合物。a衰变和自发裂变是锕系元素的重要核特性,随着原子序数的增大,半衰期依次缩短,铀238的半衰期为4.468×109年;铹260的半衰期只有3分钟。锕系元素的毒性和辐射(特别是吸入人体内的a辐射体)的危害较大,必须在有防护措施的密闭工作箱中操作这些物质。在人工合成的锕系元素中,只有钚、镎、镅、锔的年产量达千克级以上,锎仅为克量级,锿以后的元素量极少,半衰期很短,仅用于研究。用途比较多的只限于铀和钍,钚在某些情况下用作核燃料。
