拟除虫菊酯  一类仿生合成的杀虫剂,是改变天然除虫菊酯的化学结构衍生的合成酯类。天然除虫菊酯是古老的植物性杀虫剂,是除虫菊花的有效成分,其化学结构到20世纪40年代才被研究确定,此后,开始了类似物质的合成研究。1949年,美国的M.S.谢克特等合成了第一个商品化的类似物丙烯菊酯。在50~60年代,又有一些类似化合物陆续研制成功,通称为合成拟除虫菊酯。这些早期品种与天然除虫菊酯一样,在光照下易分解失效,仅适用于室内条件下防治害虫。许多科学家为此进行了长期研究,以弄清分子结构中易被光分解的不稳定部位,其中包括英国化学家M.埃利奥特领导的小组。70年代初,他们在结构改变中取得突破性的成功,合成了第一个适用于农林害虫防治的光稳定性品种氯菊酯。此后不断出现许多光稳定性品种,被称为第二代拟除虫菊酯,其中还包括了不含三元环的氰戊菊酯。80年代以来,结构改变的研究仍在深入,并有了新的进展。例如结构中引入氟原子的品种兼具杀螨效能,又如把酯键改为醚键后,可大大降低对鱼的毒性等。    特点  拟除虫菊酯是一类能防治多种害虫的广谱杀虫剂,其杀虫毒力比老一代杀虫剂如有机氯、有机磷、氨基甲酸酯类提高 10~100倍。拟除虫菊酯对昆虫具有强烈的触杀作用,有些品种兼具胃毒或熏蒸作用,但都没有内吸作用。其作用机理是扰乱昆虫神经的正常生理,使之由兴奋、痉挛到麻痹而死亡。拟除虫菊酯因用量小、使用浓度低,故对人畜较安全,对环境的污染很小。其缺点主要是对鱼毒性高,对某些益虫也有伤害,长期重复使用也会导致害虫产生抗药性。    品种  拟除虫菊酯分天然和合成两大类,合成的有光不稳定和光稳定的(见表)。它们的化学结构较复杂,有旋光异构体或顺反式立体异构体,生产工艺的反应步骤较多,对原料质量和操作控制要求严格,是典型的精细有机合成。自70年代以来生产迅速发展,到80年代全世界的年产量已达数千吨,1984年销售额为9亿美元,成为杀虫剂中一个重要的大类产品。中国在80年代已研制投产数个拟除虫菊酯品种,开始在农业和卫生上应用。(见彩图)
