溴素 溴元素符号Br,原子序数35,原子量79.909,外围电子排布4s24p5,位于第四周期第ⅦA族。原子半径114皮米,Br-半径196皮米,第一电离能1141kJ/mol,电负性2.8。主要氧化数-1、+1、+3、+5、+7。溴单质由双原子分子Br2组成。棕红色易挥发有强烈刺激性臭味的液体。密度3.119g/cm3,熔点-7.2℃,沸点58.76℃。有毒,有腐蚀性。蒸气呈棕红色,固态呈黄绿色有金属光泽。20℃时在水中的溶解度为3.38克/100克水,易溶于四氯化碳,二硫化碳、乙醇等有机溶剂中。化学性质和氯相似,能与氢、金属和多数非金属反应,只是活泼性比氯差。用于制溴化物、药物、染料、熏蒸剂、灭火剂;还用于漂白、消毒。1826年,法国人巴拉尔得把氯气通入盐湖的提盐后的废母液中制得溴,并确定它是一种元素。自然界中主要以氢溴酸盐的形式存在。在地壳中的丰度为2.5×10-4%。工业上从海水制溴,即将氯气通入盐卤中把溴置换出来。 溴蒸气即使浓度很低时也会灼伤粘膜,出现咳嗽、粘膜分泌物增多、鼻出血、头晕等症状。液态溴对皮肤有烧灼作用,可使皮肤染成黄色。最高容许浓度0.5mg/m3。中毒30~40min可致死。工作人员必须穿戴防护用具,如工作服、橡皮手套、围裙、风镜和滤毒口罩等。应避免与皮肤接触,皮肤灼烧时要用大量清水冲洗,然后敷油膏并送医院治疗。
