复合薄膜  由两层或多层不同材料的薄膜复合而成的高分子材料,主要用于包装。通过复合,可以获得具有各单一材料综合性质的材料,使用的基材主要有塑料薄膜(如聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚苯乙烯、聚氯乙烯和聚酯等)、玻璃纸、纸张和金属箔等。基材的复合可以采用挤出复合方法或借助于胶粘剂进行胶粘复合。    以聚乙烯为例。其挤出复合方法(图1)是将聚乙烯投入料斗,经过挤出机从细缝挤出一定厚度熔融膜,与送入的基材在压力滚筒和冷却滚筒之间复合、卷取,即得制品。从冷却滚筒引入第二基材,可制得聚乙烯夹心的三层复合膜;如在该复合膜两侧再复以聚乙烯,即可得五层复合膜。这种聚乙烯复合薄膜的用途相当广泛(见表)。    多层塑料复合薄膜也可采用共挤出方法(见挤出)制得。采用几台挤出机分别将几种不同的树脂引入一公共机头中,然后从口模中挤出,即得制品。    借助胶粘剂制取多层复合薄膜(图2)的装置是将胶粘剂用涂布机涂敷在薄膜或其他基材上,在干燥区干燥,然后与其他基材热压复合。基材涂敷胶粘剂后亦可先与其他基材复合,然后干燥。
