羟基香茅醛 学名3,7-二甲基-7-羟基辛酸。无色粘稠液体。分子量172.27。密度0.917-0.921g/cm3。沸点94-96℃(130Pa)。闪点12l℃。折射率1.4470-1.4500。几乎不溶于水。溶于醇、石油。以1:l溶于50%乙醇。对酸、碱及在空气中不稳定,易生成聚合物。具有强烈的甜香的百合型花香香气。 生产方法:主要采用加成水化法。以香茅醛为原料,与亚硫酸氢钠和乙醇进行加成水化反应,然后经萃取、洗涤,蒸馏而得。 用途:醛类合成香料。主要用作君影草、百合、水仙、香豌豆、丁香、茉莉等香精的调合香料,也用作香皂香料。但是由于其对皮肤有一定的刺激作用,因此通常采用与乙醛缩二甲醇、乙醛缩二乙醇、氨茴酸甲酯的胺缩合物。
