撞击坑分子式:CAS号:性质:又称冲击构造。类地行星以及木星和土星的一些卫星表面受外来小天体超速撞击形成大小不等、形态不同的凹坑。撞击坑的大小、形态,主要取决于撞击体的质量、密度、冲击压缩率和撞击速度及行星重力和靶体的密度、强度和冲击状态方程。行星上未经改造的撞击坑随着坑直径增大而其形貌表现从简单到复杂依次为:简单坑、复杂坑、中心峰坑(或原始盆地)、峰-环盆地(或双环盆地)和多环盆地等。一般结晶岩的撞击坑直径大于4km,沉积岩坑直径大小2km就可以形成复杂撞击坑。在月球、其他行星上还可见到更大规模的撞击构造—多环盆地。大型撞击坑一般发生在行星形成后早期。
