反应精馏  伴有化学反应的精馏方法,有的用精馏促进反应,有的用反应促进精馏。用精馏促进反应,就是通过精馏不断移走反应的生成物,以提高反应转化率和收率。如醇加酸生成酯和水的酯化反应是一种可逆反应,将这个反应放在精馏塔中进行时,一边进行化学反应,一边进行精馏,及时分离出生成物酯和水。这样可使反应持续向酯化的方向进行。这种精馏在同一设备内完成化学反应和产物的分离,使设备投资和操作费用大为降低。但采用这种方法必须具备一定的条件:①生成物的沸点必须高于或低于反应物;②在精馏温度下不会导致副反应等不利影响的增加。目前在工业上主要应用于酯类(如乙酸乙酯)的生产。    用反应促进精馏,就是在混合物中加入一种能与被分离组分发生可逆化学反应的物质(第三组分),以提高其相对挥发度,使精馏容易进行。如在混合二甲苯中加入异丙苯钠,后者与对二甲苯和间二甲苯反应生成对二甲苯钠和间二甲苯钠,两者反应平衡常数相差很大,可使对二甲苯与间二甲苯的相对挥发度增大很多。这种方法对增大相对挥发度比较有效。但由于第三组分的回收和循环使用比较困难,使其应用受到限制。
