法帖法帖中国书法艺术载体之一。在纸张发明之前，古人大都将文字书写在竹或木制成的薄而细长的片上，称简牍或简书；或者书写在丝织品上，称为帖。在造纸发明以后，凡书写在纸或丝织品上的、篇幅较小的文字均称之为帖。在唐代由于帝王的喜爱，出现勾摹前人墨迹集帖，即《万岁通天帖》。到宋代又出现了汇集历代名家书法墨迹，将其镌刻在石或木板上，然后拓成墨本并装裱成卷或册的刻帖。这种刻帖既使古人的书法得以流传，并扩大其影响，又是学习书法的范本，故又称之为法帖。明清之际，随着印刷业的发达和人们对书法学习的需求，汇集前人书法墨迹，镌刻法帖持续不断，规模也越来越大。除上述《万岁通天帖》外，历史上著名的法帖还有《淳化阁帖》、《绛帖》、《潭帖》、《大观帖》、《宝晋斋法帖》、《真赏斋帖》、《停云馆帖》、《余清斋帖》、《墨池堂选帖》、《快雪堂法书》、《三希堂法帖》等。
