副粘病毒科 与粘液蛋白有特殊亲和性病毒中的 1科。某些性质类似正粘病毒科,但在形态、核酸组成、复制等方面又有所不同。本科中的麻疹、呼吸道合胞、新城疫病毒等可感染人或动物,在医学和兽医学中有较大的重要性。 多形性,比正粘病毒稍大,直径150纳米或更大,有包膜,包膜表面有由糖蛋白构成的脊状突起。病毒粒内含呈螺旋对称的核壳,核酸是一条连续的ssRNA(单链RNA)长分子,分子量(5~7)×106。RNA是负链的,复制时由病毒粒内所含的RNA多聚酶转录成正链的mRNA(信使核糖核酸),RNA和蛋白质合成都在细胞质内进行,并通过细胞质膜芽生。病毒复制不能被放线菌素 D抑制。未发现有基因重组。本科大多数病毒有红细胞吸附和凝集活性、神经氨酸酶活性、溶血活性和细胞融合活性。病毒粒内通常含有 RNA多聚酶、血凝素、神经氨酸酶、细胞融合蛋白、核壳结构蛋白和膜蛋白等5~7种蛋白质。本科病毒感染细胞培养常引起多核巨细胞病变。 本科病毒可分为副粘病毒属、麻疹病毒属和肺病毒属。3 属的重要特征、主要成员、所致疾病等见表。
