包豪斯包豪斯Bauhaus德国建筑与实用美术学校。1919～1933年由德国建筑师W.格罗皮乌斯把撒克逊大公艺术学院和撒克逊大公工艺美术学校合并而创立的一所设计学校。校址最初在德国魏玛，后迁至德绍，最后移往柏林。包豪斯由德语Hausbau（房屋建造）一词颠倒而成。该校在训练学生方面既注重艺术又注重工艺技术，主张各门艺术的结合。在莫里斯设计思想的影响下，它追求创造现代的综合建筑艺术，并认为工业设计应该服务于大量生产，现代设计家要为大多数人生产实用美观的物品，而不是为少数富有的特权阶层生产奢侈品。这种教学体系及指导思想，对欧美各国都具有很大影响。1933年包豪斯被纳粹关闭，但其思想和观念却得到继续传播。曾在包豪斯任教的有W.康定斯基、P.克利、莫霍伊-纳吉等。
