蒙太奇蒙太奇montage电影主要的叙事手段和表现方法。原意为组合、装配，电影艺术上引申为镜头或画面的衔接、组织。它必须与演员的表演、电影造型以及声音有机结合。关于蒙太奇的种类，尚无定论。一般可分为对比、平行、比拟或象征、交叉、主题反复5类。学术上有人分为叙事、思维、节奏3类或是叙事、抒情、理性3类。①叙事。蒙太奇的作用，首先表现在使电影的叙事不受时间空间的限制，从另一个角度来讲也可以简化时空的变化，省略大量无关轻重的内容。例如从一个城市到另一个城市，一架飞机的起飞镜头接飞机降落的镜头就会使观众明白；一个化出化入，就可以把时间跨度拉大到几十年等等。②思维。它能使影片自如地使用叙述角度，如从作者的客观叙述，到人物的内心独白，到不同人物对周围事物环境的观察等等。没有这种交替转换，影片就会单调枯燥。③节奏。镜头更迭的频率，也就是蒙太奇的节奏，是影响观众情绪和心理的重要手段。而这种情绪和心理以及由此产生的联想正是影片要达到的效果。
