城市形态 城市各组成部分的空间结构和形式。城市形态包括两部分：一是城市内部形态，系指市区范围内工厂、仓库、车站、码头、公共建筑、住宅、道路、广场、园林绿地等各种用地的形状和布局，以及城市建筑空间组织形式；二是城市总形态，即中心城市和相邻城镇（主要是郊区城镇）的布局。对于城市形态的系统研究，一般要考虑到城市的起源、成长及其职能。城市形态可以反映城市规模、城市体系、城市地域结构、城市土地利用以及城市规划等方面的状况。 城市的内部形态，可从其功能分区即城市地域结构显示出来。而城市总形态，可归纳为集中和组合两种类型。集中型即单城，周围没有其他城镇。组合型为两个或两个以上城镇以一定间隔位于邻近地方，彼此有各种形式的联系。其中又有双子城（两个城市或一市一镇并联）、三联城、带状城镇（若干城镇呈带状排列）、城市群等形态。不论是单城还是组合的城市，其个体又有方形、圆形、放射形、长条形等形状。古代和近代的城市，以单城最为常见，随着现代城市化的发展，近几十年来大城市发展的普遍趋势，是在郊螟建设各种形式的小城镇，与中心城市组合成为城市群，或若干大城市形成大城市集群区。
