《剧本》 中国戏剧刊物。月刊。人民文学出版社、中国戏剧出版社出版。该刊曾由文化部艺术事业管理局同中国戏剧家协会合办。1952年1月创刊。田汉任社长,张光年等任主编。后由中国戏剧家协会主办。"文化大革命"前夕《剧本》 被迫停刊。《剧本》从创刊至1966年4月停刊共出164期。1979年1月正式复刊，先后由凤子、于雁军、张颖、颜振奋等任主编。该刊主要发表质量较高和有影响的反映现实题材和历史题材的新剧本，并发表过一定数量的优秀传统剧和外国翻译剧本。还发表研究剧作家、探讨剧本创作及编剧理论和技巧的文章。从1952年1月至1984年10月共出刊234期,发表大型话剧209部、独幕话剧355部、 大型戏曲剧本198部、 小型戏曲剧本146部、大型歌剧剧本50部、 小型歌剧剧本57部及广播剧、电视剧、木偶戏、 皮影戏、相声剧等 19部，总共1034部，为发表优秀剧本、培养青年作家、推动中国戏剧创作的发展作出了贡献。 该刊还于1956年1月至1958年6月编辑《剧本》农村版30期；1958年1月后曾编辑、出版《小剧本》49期，1981年曾编辑、出版《小剧本》12期；还曾出版了各种专刊、特辑、丛书等。
