逆向工程在曲面建模质量控制中的应用【摘 要】介绍逆向工程最新技术动态和最新理论、结合软件介绍该技术和理论的实行方法。【关键词】 曲面建模 点云 典型线条 造型设计1 逆向工程 当今逆向工程在产品工业设计过程中运用得愈加广泛。逆向工程是一种从模型对象表面获得的点数据出发，使我们能在计算机内生成一个已存在模型实物的替代品的技术。事实上，许多设计者热衷于手工地做出目标模型，目的是一方面将自己的概念设计以一个更真实的方式展现其外形；另一方面，为的是评估模型的实际尺寸能否实现所要求的性能。一旦其最终造型确定，为了产品设计过程和生产计划的顺利实现，有必要通过多种计算机辅助软件（CAD、CAS、CAID)构造一个虚拟模型诠释该模型。在整个过程中，一个重要的环节是从测量得到的点云数据重建曲面。通常，在一个点密集的数据里，很难找到创意师设计的造型特性，这会导致最终实现的产品和最初的设计模型造型的不一致性，有必要对所建立的曲面进行修复从而使误差减到最小以得到最佳效果。很明显，这些修复过程实际上是对设计工作的一种重复，蕴含着产品投放市场的相对滞后和相当大的成本增加。国外许多研究者在做这项工作。以意大利为例，许多先进企业的产品开发者如DEMO公司、IDEA公司等致力于开发一些辅助软件工具以使CAD的操作者能够快速地控制从点云数据出发到重建曲面的响应过程。所提及的控制是指如何有效地发现误差。所应用的软件有Pro/SURFACE和CDRS，这两种PTC曲面设计软件给设计者灵活控制曲面形状提供了较大的自由度，能使设计者易于实现个性化的应用而获得高质量的曲面。 产品造型的重要性绝不亚于产品功用，因为造型是最直观具体的。工业领域市场的不断发展推动着企业开发新产品。为获得良好的商业效果，产品的外观正变得越来越重要。设计者们通过对曲面构建技术的提高和相关材料的制约来提高产品外形质量。对逆向工程而言，在产品设计和生产过程中如何实现和产品最初设计的造型一致显得尤其重要。如今有许多CAS(Computer Aided Styling)和CAID(Computer Aided Industry Design)软件，它们的目的是支持或扩展设计者的创造性，同时通过对产品虚拟模型的分析，允许设计者的设计概念能传递到那些与产品开发及生产有关的人员那里。这里的虚拟模型，我们不妨理解为产品在计算机里通过某种软件展示的模型。实际上逆向工程是一个从已有产品模型出发定义几何数据并通过这些数据在一个CAD环境下重建产品的数字化或参数化模型的过程。它的整个过程大体上通过两种方法实现，可以用图1来表示。
