扰流板汽车的扰流板是指在车尾上方安装的附加板,在实际生活中,扰流板的作用主要是为了减少车辆尾部的升力。如果车尾的升力比车头的升力大,就容易导致车子转向过多、后轮抓地力减小、高速稳定性差。利用扰流板的倾斜度,使风力直接产生向下的压力,这就是扰流板的作用。升力与风阻一样,与车速的平方成正比。也就是说,在时速120公里的升力,是时速60公里的4倍,是时速40公里的9倍。因此行驶速度较快的汽车,如高级轿车和跑车,一般都装有扰流板。有些旅行轿车的顶盖后缘装有扰流板,使顶盖上一部分气流被引导流过后窗表面。这样既可使后窗后部的升力降低,也可引导气流将后窗表面浮尘消除,避免尘污附着而影响汽车的后视野。
