喜洲喜洲位于大理市北部，东临洱海，西枕苍山，原为大理河蛮的城邑，隋史万岁曾驻兵于此，因而称史城，唐南诏时称大厘城。大理籍的商人，尤以喜洲多，号称喜洲帮，主要经营药材、布匹、茶叶。喜洲镇以四方街为中心，有七条街向四面辐射，青石铺地的道路，临街作坊商号多为两层木桔构建筑。喜洲白族民居建筑群，从布局上是典型的三坊一照壁及四合五天井白族庭院格局，建筑为土木砖石结构，门窗为雕刻精细的木刻花鸟。房屋白墙灰瓦，局部绘以水墨山水画，门楼门座用青石刻出图案，形成了独特的白族建筑风格。重点保护的有杨品相宅，严、董家等大院，其中杨品相宅建造于四十年代，总面积６５３０余平方米，是中西结合的上品。
