万向联轴器 用于两相交轴上的可移式刚性联轴器(见图)。两轴线最大夹角可达45°,广泛用于机床、汽车、精密机械和重型机械等。万向联轴器由两个叉形零件和一个十字形零件联接而成。当主动轴以等角速度ω 1旋转时,如两轴线夹角为 α,则从动轴的角速度ω 2将在ω 1cosα ≤ω 2≤ω 1/cosα 的范围内作周期性变化,从而引起附加动载。因此,单个万向联轴器不宜用在转速高、两轴线夹角大的联接。为克服上述缺点,可采用双联万向联轴器,即用一根中间轴联接两个万向联轴器,安装时使主、从动轴与中间轴的轴线夹角相等,并使两端的叉形零件处在同一平面内,这样能使主动轴与从动轴的角速度随时相等。利用球笼式万向联轴器和球槽式万向联轴器也可使两轴瞬时速度近似相等。
