科学工业园区科学工业园区 科学工业园区当代高科技产业开发与配置以及土地利用的常用模式。起源于美国西海岸圣弗兰西斯科湾(旧金山湾)南岸圣克拉拉县境内的硅谷。 20世纪60一80年代，随着各种新技术企业公司在硅谷中如雨后春笋般涌现，企业用地和配置的形式也一反常态，呈现出新颖的特色:即作为工业布局的基础单位，不是通常的工厂，而是以所谓科学工业园的形式出现。这种工业园区通常是新技术公司的所在地，其内部按照科学研究和应用的生产工艺流程需要，由各种式样的专业建筑单元所组成。建筑物多为平房或庭院式的低层楼房。园区占地面积，除个别较大(50公顷~100公顷)以外，一般都较小(10公顷以下)，且多数围绕着大学、科研所分布。科学工业园区的形成原因，除了当地土地面积较大，且地价同城市相比并不昂贵以外，主要是各工业园区可就近利用各科研技术开发机构的人才、成果与先进的实验设备等良好条件，研制与开发新产品，以应付国内市场上激烈竞争的需要。许多科学工业园区的产品主要是半导体、电脑、电脑周边设备、磁盘、无线电话、微型电脑等，这些产品的生产或组装对环境质量要求较高，故通常选择在离开大、中城市有一段距离，且环境清幽之地，彼此间也应防止互相干扰，园区式的配置形式也就逐渐发展形成。 中国第一个科学工业园区始建于1985年，名为深圳科技工业园，由深圳市政府与中国科学院合办，地处深圳市郊外的南头附近。园区西连深圳大学，北靠货运公路，南临深圳湾，风光秀丽，气候适宜，园区内有土地面积3.2平方公里(一期开发。.2平方公里，二期0.9平方公里，三期2.1平方公里)。根据其发展规划，该园区融科学、技术、工业、园林为一体，以优良的投资环境及条件来吸引外资和先进技术，进行研究开发，开拓新技术产业，以电子信息、新材料、生物工程、光电子、精密机械等领域为重点开发和生产高技术产品，以适应当今高科技产业进一步发展的需要。
