CN 硝酸纤维素实际上是纤维素的硝酸酯,它是以精制短棉绒为原料,用硝酸、硫酸的混合酸进行酯化,使纤维素中的-OH基酯化成-ONO2的产物。根据纤维素中3个-OH基酯化程度的不同,就可得到不同含氮量的CN,随着酯化程度增大,台氮量升高,三硝酸纤维素的理论含氮量为14.14%。不同含氮量的硝酸纤维素有着不同的溶解度和用途。塑料用的含氮量为10.5-12.3%,胶粘剂和涂料用的为11.5%-12.2%,火药用的为11.8%-13.5%。硝酸纤维素的聚合度n=100-3500,分子量为16200-875000。 CN为白色或微黄色絮绒状固体,无臭、易燃 、易爆,相对密度1.58-1.65,熔点160-170 ℃,闪点12.78℃,自燃温度170℃,折射率1.51。不溶于水,易溶于酮、酯、醇、醚类溶剂,硝酸纤维素对碱很敏感,容易发生皂化而脱硝。长期在光和热作用下能分解并降低含氮量。硝酸纤维素主要用于配制溶剂型胶桔剂,粘接赛璐珞塑料制品和火药。配制火棉胶。由于硝化纤维素性质很不稳定,易燃易爆,当温度超过40 ℃时能加速分解而发生自燃。含水25%时较安全,因此在贮运时加入30%左右的乙醇或水为湿润剂,以增加稳定性。使用前应将硝酸纤维素的水烘干,要特别注意安全、最好使用水烘箱,如果用电烘箱温控一定要可取,烘箱门不得关死,防止爆炸。中间观察时人不得面对烘箱开门,以防发生意外。 贮存于阴凉、通风的专用库房内,温度不超过30℃,远离火种和热源。
