基础研究 基础研究 basic research J iehu yanjiu基础研究(basic research)探索自然现象本质、揭示物质运动规律的创造性活动。特指对基础科学所进行的专门研究。基础研究的任务是:发现尚未为人所知的自然现象和规律，建立新的科学假说和理论，开拓新的研究方向和领域。它一般分为两种:①以发展科学理论本身为目的的纯粹理论研究，如物质结构、天体演化、生命起源等研究;②带有笼统实用目的的应用基础研究(或称为定向基础研究、背景研究)，如生物固氮、针麻原理等研究。基础研究属于探索性研究，自由度比较大，研究周期比较长，管理比较灵活，研究成果对广泛的科学领域产生影响，其中包括对原有科技资源的再认识以及新生科技资源的发现。 基础研究是应用研究和开发研究的理论基础，它通过认识自然规律、发展科学理论、开拓新的研究领域，来推进新的应用研究和开发研究。 中国加强基础研究主要通过以下作法:①1982年建立国家自然科学基金，针对科技发展中某些具有战略意义或有可能率先突破的基础科学领域，给予资金支持进行研究;②1984年制订国家重点实验室建设计划，选择优先发展和交叉的新兴学科，在部分高等院校和科研机构建设和装备了一批相当于国际水平的实验室，供较高层次进行基础研究和应用基础研究;③1992年实施国家基础性研究重大关键项目计划(即攀登计划)，选一些具有重大科学价值或应用前景的项目，给予持续稳定的研究支持。(邹平)
