荷兰研发新包装 可使植物贮存期延长一倍多 荷兰Lisse研究中心研发了一种名叫ModifiedAtmospherePackaging(MAP)的包装,可以极大延长花卉球根和多年生植物的贮存期。这种包装内含一层薄膜,该薄膜的氧气和二氧化碳通透率很低。它的原理很简单:利用包装内植物的呼吸作用,使得包装内氧气含量降低,从而使植物萌芽的几率降到最低。这种薄膜也不透水,所以也能保证包装内的植物不丧失水分。因为植物呼吸作用对包装内氧气水平的影响最大,所以该研究中心研究人员HenkGude和MargaDijkema测量了不同温度下不同球根和多年生植物的呼吸作用情况。还针对植物从低温贮存状态下转入到零售温度下呼吸作用会增强做了专门的研究。初步研究成果表明,这种内含特制薄膜的MAP包装可以使多年生植物的贮存期由普通包装的3周延长至8到9周。这一研究项目还包括研究不同类型的包装填充物对贮存期的影响,以及研发适合更大量植物产品贮存和运输的特制MAP包装。该研究中心表示,MAP包装还会有更大的改进。(源自:山东林业信息网)
